Privacy Policy

Effective date:

Daniel Nomanim, APC dba DEN Labor Law explains here how we collect and use personal information through www.denlaborlaw.com, our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, and Messenger. This policy covers initial inquiries and information from visits to our website. If you become a client, separate terms and privacy notices may also apply.

Information you share

We collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number if provided, and Messenger profile and messages. Our lead forms may ask where you worked, what kind of work you did, your workplace concern and about when it happened. We may also keep contact history, review status and consultation details.

Please share only a brief account at first. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank details, medical records or case documents through a website form, lead form or Messenger. Our team can explain how to send documents if they are needed.

How we use information

We use your information to review your inquiry, respond to you, ask follow-up questions, arrange a possible consultation and keep track of next steps. We also use inquiry source and status information to understand campaign results, maintain our systems and meet legal duties. Sending an inquiry does not mean we have agreed to represent you.

We may respond in Messenger, email, or via text message. If you provide other contact details, we may use them to follow up about your inquiry.

Who can access information

Daniel Nomanim and authorized firm staff can access inquiry information. Authorized support providers, including Giselle and ToastyLabs, may access it to help manage inquiries, records and campaigns. We use Meta for forms and messages and Google Sheets for inquiry tracking. These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or our services.

We do not sell the details you submit in an inquiry. We use them to respond to your inquiry, not to sign you up for promotional messages.

Website information and tracking

Our website contact form sends your inquiry to the firm by email. It collects your name, phone number, email address and whether you worked in California. Your answers may also include your employer, workplace concern, employment status, approximate timing and a brief description of what happened.

Loading a website involves sending technical connection information, such as your IP address and browser request information, to the servers delivering the page. Our fonts are hosted with the website and do not require a connection to Google Fonts. Some pages offer YouTube and Facebook videos. Each video starts as a preview hosted on this website and connects to its provider only when you choose to load that video. The provider can then receive technical connection information and process viewing activity, and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own terms and privacy policies. The YouTube embeds use its privacy-enhanced domain; this does not prevent communication with YouTube after you load a video.

Prepared analytics setup

A consent-gated Google Analytics 4 (GA4) setup has been prepared but is not yet live on the website. When enabled, it will measure visits only to the About, Results and Privacy Policy pages in English and Spanish, and only with analytics consent. It will not load on our homepages, contact forms, practice-area pages, unknown pages, or pages with URL query parameters or fragments.

The prepared setup uses approved page addresses, a fixed general page title and an empty referring address. It does not send names, contact details, messages, employer information or other answers entered in inquiry forms to GA4. It includes no form-submission or lead-conversion tracking. When enabled, GA4 can process cookie identifiers, technical browser/device and session information, and basic page-view and engagement events. Google also receives connection information, including your IP address, when its services are contacted. This is not anonymous browsing.

Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (CAPI) are not live on this website. If advertising tracking tools are introduced later, we will update this policy to describe their actual use and provide any required notices and privacy choices.

Cookies and browser signals

The consent controls offer Accept, Reject and Manage Preferences. You can change or withdraw analytics consent at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer. Your choice is remembered in this browser using local storage for up to 180 days. If your browser cannot save the choice, it applies only to the current page.

The prepared setup blocks the Google Analytics script until analytics consent is given. Rejection or withdrawal blocks future GA4 collection and removes this setup's accessible analytics cookies. If GA4 has loaded on a page, withdrawal also reloads that page to stop the loaded analytics code. It does not delete information already sent to Google. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep GA4 off.

These preferences control GA4 only. Choosing to load a video is a separate choice for that video on the current page; it does not grant analytics consent. Accepting analytics does not load videos. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics consent does not close a video you have chosen to load; leave or reload the page to remove that player. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect third-party content.

Storage and retention

Inquiry records are held in Meta, Google Sheets, and DEN Labor Law’s electronic file management system. We keep them for as long as needed to handle the inquiry, maintain appropriate records and meet legal duties.

We use Gmail for email and Google Drive for electronic file storage.

Protecting information

We use Gmail and Google Drive to handle email and electronic files. Information processed through these services is subject to the applicable Google terms and privacy notices. The people and support providers who may access inquiry information are described above.

No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to correct your contact details, stop following up about your inquiry, or review or delete information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below. We may need to check your identity before acting. Some records may need to be kept for legal or professional reasons. A request to us does not delete information that Meta or Google independently hold under their own policies.

Other services

Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, YouTube and Google have their own privacy policies. Those policies explain how each provider handles information for its own purposes. Links to other websites are also subject to those sites' policies. You can read the Meta Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

We will post updates on this page and change the effective date above. Please check for updates on this page.
